Mary Kroening named director of Orr Street Studios

Columbia’s Mary Kroening, owner of Hidden Treasures Botanical Tours and coordinator of the Missouri Master Gardner Program, is the new director of Orr Street Studios. She assumes the role that was perviously held by Tracy Lane, the still-new director of Ragtag Cinemas.
Kroening’s company, Hidden Treasures Botanical Tours, will continue to locate its offices at Orr Street Studios. According to the Web site (www.hiddentreasuresbotanicaltours.com), Hidden Treasures “was created to offer specialty tours throughout the world, highlighting unique public and private sites not often discovered on the average trip abroad.”
In addition to Orr Street, the touring company, and her work with Missouri’s Master Gardner Program, Kroening is active in the community. Among other activities, she chairs the Columbia Image Awards organizing committee.
